Tis a new day, with some 'new' profits. Ever since 3.3, we've been doing alot of random dungeons. Now we probably spend most of our badges, but we get a hella alot of Spirit Shards. Myself, had aruond 1300 or so just sitting there, with no use. Already had the mount, PVP gear is neglible. So I decided to go to WG to use them on something. I've also been doing some cross-realm PVP premades, and the leader earns his gold through honor. Epic gems, for 10k honor. 30 Shards for 2k honor, 150 shards for 1 epic gem. So every shard should be worth around 1.15g. So if you got 'em stocked, burn em on epic gems. Get a JC friend to cut them You're set.

Noms! Okay. Old world instances are good. I'm currently becomming attuned for Karazhan (Yay achievement whoring!) but, I'm interested in the loot available. Hoping for the mount/Mongoose are the main things. But, the drops. BoE epics might be a nice 100g. MC boe's definitely are. Which is interesting..BC (HFP quests) loot is better, surely?

Anyway, so far Molten Core is quite nice. DE'ing the epics is nothing, 1g a shard.
Essense of Earth, 12g ea.
Lava Core, 26g ea
Fiery Core, 28g ea
And a few other common bits and bobs for 1g~ ea. Not to mention the bosses to drop a bit..
Though, I'm doing this on my prot paladin (4.6k GS) and was able to solo Garr, Golomagg and Baron. Only have done those three so far due to the Thunderfury drops, and a friend want's the drop from Golomagg (Which can be a nice 500g). Once he finishes his mace, that will be a nice quick profit. If you can't solo it, or a non-tanking/warrior class. Get a friend to go along, it's ALOT more quicker and you can happily share the loots. Hell, people are even interested in the achievement alone. I think I'll do a post focusing no MC alone, in the future. But really, Prot Paladins are amazing for soloing old world content..I'm happy I rolled one and dropped my Shaman.
